MFB: FIRST MOROCCAN MARITIME TRAFFIC OPERATOR IN FRUITS AND VEGETABLES


With an annual traffic of about 350,000 export pallets, MFB occupies a prominent rank in the traffic of citrus and early fruits and vegetables.

 

The company provides to its exporting members a wide variety of logistic services, covering almost the entire chain, from the management of goods in the packing plants until their transport by sea and unloading at destination, via completion of customs formalities at the ports of shipment and discharge.

 

Our logistics team provides the shippers groups, from Moroccan ports, with the latest generation of polythermal vessels. Those vessels serve several foreign ports within very short deadlines and in optimal security conditions for the goods. Similarly, the share of containerized transport within our coverage of export needs has, during the recent years, witnessed an important development related to the expansion of this type of transport. Therefore, the company has forged strong partnerships with leading global shipowners.

Our teams are committed to continuously check the quality of our fruits and vegetables using a well-defined process: - Firstly, the process of the “orchard-plant-consumer” chain, which encompasses the picking, transportation, processing, packaging, storage and delivery to the relevant point of sales.

- at each stage of the overall process - including traceability and respect of the cold chain.

 

All of our orchards and plants are certified according to international standards (GLOBALGAP, BRC, HACCP, ISO 22000 ...).

 

The ultimate goal of our quality axis is to constantly ensure our compliance with the requirements of specifications. Moreover, beyond the Moroccan borders, we collaborate with specialized companies located in each of the ports of destination, in order to make further checks on arrival and before delivering our fruits and vegetables to our customers.
