Before 1965 (Prior to the establishment of the Office of Commercialization and Exportation - OCE):
- Exporters, organized in the so-called “Committee of shippers”, entrust forwarding agents with their exportation programs. Those agents undertake the organization of the whole logistics operations, including transit and maritime transport.
1965
- Nationalization of the export sector of fruit and vegetables and the creation of the Office of Commercialization and Exportation (OCE) in order to ensure the repatriation of foreign exchange and provide logistics and marketing operations.
1986
- Liberalization of the commercialization of citrus and early fruits and vegetables, at the request of producers, and under the decision of His Majesty King Hassan II, with the choice, for producers who prefer it, to remain within OCE or export their products using their own means.
1987
- A great number of producers are organized into private groups and create the ATLAS FRUIT BOARD - AFB structure. The establishment of AFB was initiated by Les Domaines who assured its Presidency. AFB’s mission is to manage the marketing of products on markets involving the countries of Eastern Europe, Middle East, North America, Scandinavia and Finland.
